We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Valuation, to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and collaboratively with our dedicated team across various states.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Analyze historical data, claim patterns, and other relevant information to estimate IBNR reserves for various lines of insurance.<\/p>\n<p>Develop and maintain actuarial models and methods to accurately estimate IBNR reserves, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Conduct regular actuarial valuations to assess the financial impact of IBNR reserves on the company\u2019s balance sheet and financial statements.<\/p>\n<p>Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IBNR estimation methodologies, implementing improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor and analyze emerging trends in claims, legal environment, and medical advancements, providing proactive insights on their potential impact on IBNR reserves.<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and rating agencies, to ensure compliance and transparency in reporting IBNR reserves.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, or another related field of study.<\/p>\n<p>Successful completion of 4+ exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.<\/p>\n<p>5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience.<\/p>\n<p>2+ years of actuarial experience.<\/p>\n<p>Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow or Associate in the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA).<\/p>\n<p>2+ years of valuation experience.<\/p>\n<p>2+ years of commercial pricing experience.<\/p>\n<p>Why Join Us?<\/p>\n<p>We offer best-in-class benefits designed to support you and your family\u2019s well-being, professional growth, and financial security.
